Fitzwilliam Malton Estate Planting for the Future
The Fitzwilliam Malton Estate is committed to caring for its woodland, trees and public safety, despite woodland forming only a small part of its wider property portfolio. In winter 2025, the Estate removed 350 tonnes of diseased and declining ash trees from Long Plantation to help limit the spread of ash dieback and ensure the safety of users of the public footpath.
