Middlecave Yard Development: Update
Middlecave Yard is entering its final stage of development, with the finishing touches now being made ahead of imminent completion. Created by the Fitzwilliam Malton Estate on a former farmyard close to Malton town centre, the scheme brings an exciting new collection of hybrid-business units to the heart of the town.
Designed by Native Architects to reflect Malton’s rural character and the site’s agricultural past, the contemporary courtyard development constructed by Transcore Ltd - Building & Civil Engineering Contractors combines a new timber-clad building with a sympathetically restored brick barn. The result is distinctive, high-quality accommodation with the flexibility to support a range of small and growing businesses.
With completion now close, Middlecave Yard will shortly be unveiled and ready to welcome its first occupants. Units are available separately or in combination with rental terms dependent on specification and configuration.
Rebecca Wilkin, Head of Estate, said: “As we near final completion, it is fantastic to see the vision for Middlecave Yard coming to fruition and the team’s hard work bringing this wonderful site to life. The interest from such a diverse range of businesses has been particularly encouraging, with many already able to see themselves operating from this unique setting. We are excited to see who becomes the first occupiers and to welcome them to Middlecave Yard.”
