The Groovy Moo named the “Best Dessert Parlour in England” in the Food Awards 2018!

Since The Groovy Moo opened their own little corner of Italy in Malton’s Talbot Yard Food Court back in 2015, their gelato business has gone from strength to strength. Serving everything from a festive Christmas pudding gelato to a summery palate cleansing Lemon & Mint Mojito sorbet, their ice-creams are proving to be a hit all year round.

They have just been voted as the “Best Dessert Parlour in England” at the recent Food Awards 2018.

“It was a complete surprise to us to find out that we had been nominated by our customers. But it was even more amazing when we heard the news that we had won!” said Michelle, co-owner of The Groovy Moo. “We never expected it as there were some big competitors in the running for the award. We are proud to be able to bring delicious artisan gelato and this national award to Malton, Yorkshire’s Food Capital.”

Tom Naylor-Leyland from the Fitzwilliam (Malton) Estate said, “It’s absolutely brilliant for Groovy Moo and indeed an award like this is great for Malton being one of the country’s top foodie destinations.”
