A former farmyard on the corner of Horsemarket Road continues its transformational journey to provide exciting new accommodation in Malton. Appointed contractor Transcore Ltd are making significant progress with the Fitzwilliam Estate’s latest building project, incorporating a new design and style in Malton town centre, sympathetic to the site’s previous agricultural use and reflective of the rural tone of the town.

Middlecave Yard offers a neat multi or single occupation site - following the demolition and clearance of former farm buildings - paving the way for a new build construction that offers an L-shaped portal frame, timber clad unit totalling 312.55 sq m (3,364 sq ft). The new build unit offers a variety of sub-divisional configurations and exciting options for contemporary occupation. The high spec finish consists of a power floated concrete floor, eaves at 2.95m, 3-phase electricity and LED lighting in a character setting that provides accommodation suitable for office, production, or retail use.
This courtyard scheme designed by Native Architects also incorporates an existing two storey barn brick build barn that has been sympathetically refurbished to provide an additional 119 sq m (1,280 sq ft) of character accommodation.
Works are expected to complete during summer 2026 with McBeath Property Consultancy Ltd appointed as letting agents: https://www.mcbeathproperty.co.uk
